Description
Looking for an easy way to make chocolate waffles? Here's the secret: use brownie mix!
Servings and Ingredients

| 1 box Hy-Vee fudge brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on the box | ||
| 1 Hy-Vee large egg | ||
| ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles and maraschino cherries, for serving |
Directions
- Prepare brownie mix as directed on the box, but stir in an extra egg.
- If possible, set the waffle maker to medium heat and grease lightly with nonstick spray.
- Bake brownie waffles as normal. They will be soft at first but crisp up as they cool.
- To make brownie sundaes, top waffles with scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles and maraschino cherries.
