1 fryer chicken, cut in pieces | ||
salt and pepper, to taste | ||
2 c. ketchup | ||
6 oz. Coca-Cola | ||
¼ c. brown sugar | ||
2 to 3 tbsp prepared mustard | ||
1 to 2 tbsp Liquid Smoke flavoring |
Directions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Arrange in a large frying pan.
- Combine ketchup, Coca-Cola, brown sugar, mustard and Liquid Smoke. Pour over chicken.
- Cover pan and cook over medium heat for about an hour.
- NOTE: Make extra barbecue sauce if desired for dipping.
