1 ¼ lbs. ground beef | ||
2 (3 oz each) pkg Maruchan Oriental-flavored instant ramen noodles, broken up and seasoning packets reserved | ||
2 c. frozen broccoli, carrots and water chestnut blend | ||
2 c. water | ||
¼ tsp. ground ginger | ||
2 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion |
Directions
- Brown ground beef in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is not pink. Break beef up into 3/4-inch crumbles.
- Remove meat from skillet with slotted spoon.
- Season beef with one seasoning packet from noodles and set aside.
- Pour off drippings.
- Place broken noodles in same skillet.
- Add vegetable mixture, water, ginger and remaining seasoning packet and bring to boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Return beef to skillet and heat through.
- Stir in green onions.
