½ lbs. extra-lean ground beef | ||
¼ c. chopped onion | ||
¾ c. water | ||
1 Hy-Vee beef bouillon cube | ||
2 tsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce | ||
1 (4 oz) can Hy-Vee sliced mushrooms, drained | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee sour cream | ||
1 ½ tbsp. Hy-Vee flour | ||
6 oz. Hy-Vee wide egg noodles, uncooked | ||
chopped fresh parsley, optional |
Directions
- In a small saucepan, cook beef and onion until meat is thoroughly cooked and onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add water, bouillon cube and Worcestershire sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring to dissolve bouillon.
- Stir in mushrooms and reduce heat.
- Stir together sour cream and flour. Add to beef mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens. Do not boil.
- Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- Toss hot noodles and sauce. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
