    Hy-Vee salt
    Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    1 (6-oz.) box Hy-Vee pork stuffing mix
    1 ⅔ c. That's Smart! apple juice
    1 Gala apple, cored and chopped

    • Large bowl
    • 100-percent cotton kitchen twine or wooden toothpicks
    • Meat thermometer

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper and place on prepared pan.

    2. In a large bowl, mix together stuffing mix, apple juice, and chopped Honeycrisp apple. Spoon stuffing into pork chops. Fold one side of pork chops over the stuffing and tie with 100-percent cotton kitchen twine or secure with toothpicks.

    3. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until pork chops are golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Remove from oven and discard kitchen twine and/or toothpicks.
