Gather your ingredients and tools: one 16 oz. package of fresh Basket and Bushel strawberries, paring knife, fork and skewers. Insert fork into bottom of strawberry (where leaves are). Use paring knife to slice downward into four sides of strawberry to create first row of petals. Slightly pull back petals as you slice downward to create the fanned-petal look.

Repeat technique in step 2 to create the second row of petals. Use alternate spacing when slicing strawberry petals in second tier. Be careful not to slice too deep into strawberry.
Make one shallow slice straight down into top of strawberry to complete your strawberry rose.
Remove from fork and insert strawberry into skewer; repeat steps for all strawberries.
Place all strawberry rose skewers into vase and enjoy!
