Sweet Potato-Mallow Yum
Servings and Ingredients
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter|
|1 tbsp. pure maple syrup|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon|
|1 (19 oz) bag frozen sweet potato steak fries|
|1 c. marshmallow crème|
- Lightly grease and preheat a waffle baker according to manufacturer's directions. (Use a regular or Belgian waffle baker.)
- In medium saucepan, heat butter, maple syrup and cinnamon over medium heat until butter is melted. Add frozen sweet potato steak fries to saucepan; toss to coat well. Arrange single layer of fries in preheated waffle baker; bake until cooked through. Repeat with remaining fries.
- In small saucepan, heat marshmallow crème over low heat until melted. Transfer to a resealable plastic bag, cut off one corner of bag and pipe crème over fries.
