|1 tbsp. peanut oil, divided|
|1 tbsp. Hy-Vee less-sodium soy sauce|
Things To Grab
- Charcoal or gas grill
- 10-inch cast iron skillet
Microwave the rice bowls according to package directions; cool slightly. Divide each bowl into three portions.
Slightly wet hands with water; lightly sprinkle with salt, then rub hands together. Place on rice portion in the palm of your hand. Squeeze and press the rice until it holds together; form rice into a triangular-shape cake. Repeat with remaining rice portions, wetting and salting hands each time. Place rice cakes on a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
Remove skillet from grill; add 1 to 2 teaspoons peanut oil. Swirl skillet to coat bottom. Return skillet to grill and heat oil until shimmering. Using tongs, add 6 of the rice cakes to the skillet. Grill 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden, turning once and lightly brushing with soy sauce. Repeat cooking remaining rice cakes with remaining 1 to 2 teaspoons peanut oil.
