    1 (14.5 oz) pkg Hy-Vee ALA omega-3 rotini
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lbs. sweet Italian sausage, casings discarded
    ½ c. dry white wine
    2 c. Hy-Vee traditional pasta sauce

    Directions

    1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
    2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and sausage, stirring to break up sausage. Cook until onions are softened and sausage is no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain if desired.
    3. Add wine and simmer until reduced by about half. Stir in pasta sauce and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened, about 10 minutes.
    4. Toss pasta with sauce.
