1 large green pepper or sweet red pepper, cut into 1/2 inch chunks | ||
⅓ c. chopped onion | ||
1 (3 oz) pkg sliced pepperoni, cut into strips | ||
1 (26 oz) jar Hy-Vee spaghetti sauce | ||
½ (16 oz) pkg Hy-Vee spaghetti | ||
1 c. shredded Hy-Vee mozzarella cheese (4 oz) |
Directions
- In large sauce pan over medium heat, heat oil; add peppers and onion. Cook five minutes or until peppers and onion are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add spaghetti sauce and pepperoni; heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer five minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
- Toss hot pasta and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
