|2 ½ c. bread crumbs|
|½ c. evaporated milk|
|1 ½ lbs. ground beef|
|⅓ c. ketchup|
|1 tsp. salt|
|¼ tsp. pepper|
|1 envelope(s) dry Lipton soup mix, divided|
|3 to 4 tbsp flour|
|2 to 3 c. milk or water|
- Soak bread crumbs in evaporated milk.
- Mix ground beef with ketchup, salt, pepper, egg and half the dry soup mix. Add bread/milk mixture. Form into balls.
- Cook in a large skillet, in batches if necessary, over medium heat or bake on rimmed baking sheet, turning occasionally, at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Drain grease.
- For gravy, add flour, remaining half package dry soup mix and milk. Simmer until thickened.
