½ c. chopped onion
1 medium carrot, peeled & sliced
1 celery, sliced
1 vegetable oil
2 can(s) (14.5 oz. each) Hy-Vee chicken broth
2 c. water
1 envelope(s) (0.7 oz.) Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
1 lbs. fresh turkey breast, cooked & cubed (to equal 2 cups)
1 ½ c. uncooked Hy-Vee pasta shells

Directions

  1. Cook onion, carrot and celery in a small amount of oil in a large saucepan, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
  2. Add chicken broth, water and salad dressing mix. Bring to a boil. Add turkey and pasta. Cover.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
