    3 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select extra-virgin olive oil
    3 lbs. pork steak
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter
    1 medium red onion, chopped
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    3 Honeycrisp apples
    1 (12-oz.) bottle hard cider
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee apple cider vinegar
    3 tbsp. whole caraway seed

    • Hy-Vee nonstick cooking spray
    • Large skillet
    • Aluminum foil

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 3-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
    2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown both sides of pork steaks. Place steaks in prepared dish; set aside.
    3. To the skillet, add butter, red onions and sugar and sauté for 2 minutes. While onions are sautéing, peel and core apples and cut into large chunks. Place onions over pork steak. Add apples, hard cider, cider vinegar and caraway seed. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
