Green Bean Casserole with Pecans and Cranberries
Servings and Ingredients
|1 lbs. green beans, trimmed|
|1 ½ tbsp. butter or extra-virgin olive oil (to make it dairy-free)|
|⅓ c. pecans, chopped|
|1 clove(s) garlic, minced|
|⅓ c. cranberries|
|Salt and pepper, to taste|
|Ground flaxseed, optional|
- Simmer green beans in a large skillet in salted water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter or heat the oil. Saute pecans and garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in the green beans and cranberries and heat through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in ground flaxseed, if desired.
