1 tbsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper
1 ½ c. fresh tomatoes, chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Fresh Pecorino Romano cheese, grated, for garnish

Directions

  1. Bring a large stockpot filled with lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions for "al dente."

  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; saute 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped tomatoes and cook 5 minutes or until sauce slightly thickens.

  3. Drain cooked pasta using a colander and quickly toss into tomato mixutre 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley and grated Pecorino Romano cheese, if desired.
