2 c. sugar
2 c. brewed coffee
2 c. flour*
1 c. cocoa
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. baking soda
2 large eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour either a 9-by-13-inch baking pan or a Bundt pan.
  2. Combine all ingredients* in a large bowl. Beat on low speed until combined. Increase speed to high and beat for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes. Frost cooled cake or dust with powdered sugar.
  4. *If using a Bundt pan, add an additional 1/4 c. flour (for total of 2-1/4 cups flour).
