Directions
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead dough for 1 to 2 minutes or until dough forms a ball and butter is combined. Return dough ball to large bowl; cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
Cut the dough ball into 12 (2-oz.) wedges; roll each wedge into a ball. Using a rolling pin, roll each dough ball into a 7-in. round; set aside on parchment paper.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove skillet from heat; lightly spray with cooking spray. Return skillet to heat. Cook dough rounds, one at a time, for 30 to 60 seconds or until golden or bubbles begin to appear, turning halfway through. (Remove skillet from heat to spray skillet between cooking each tortilla.) Transfer tortillas to a plate; cover to keep warm until ready to serve.
For tacos, cook ground beef in same large hot skillet over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or just until beef is browned, stirring occasionally to break into crumbles. Drain and discard drippings. Add taco seasoning mix and water to skillet; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until water is evaporated and meat mixture reaches 165 degrees.
To serve, divide ground beef mixture among the warmed tortillas. Top with cilantro and white onion. Garnish with crema; serve with lime wedges, if desired.
