1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground ginger | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cloves | ||
2 c. packed dark brown sugar | ||
1 oz. bourbon, poured into a clean spray bottle | ||
2 c. crushed Kellogg's Cracklin' Oat Bran Cereal |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Remove ham from plastic. Place ham cut-side-down in a roasting pan. Cover ham with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 130 degrees. Remove ham from oven.
- Increase oven temperature to 350 degrees.
- Dry ham with paper towels.
- Stir together mustard, ginger and cloves. With a basting brush, brush mixture on ham. Pack brown sugar over mustard mixture. Spray brown sugar with bourbon. Pack cereal over bourbon.
- Return uncovered ham to oven and bake until interior temperature reaches 140 degrees, approximately 1 hour.
- Allow ham to rest for 1/2 hour before serving.
