8 oz. Hy-Vee creamy cream cheese frosting | ||

50 lollipop sticks |

- Large bowl
- Microwave-safe bowl
- Baking sheet
- Wax paper
- Styrofoam block
Directions
Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions with water, oil and eggs. Cool completely.
Crumble cake into large bowl.
Spoon frosting into microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 to 15 seconds to soften. Add to crumbled cake and stir by hand until combined. If mixture cannot form a ball without cracking, stir in additional softened frosting.
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Shape into 50 balls and place on prepared pan. Cover and refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes.
Melt white chocolate and shortening in microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM for 1 minute. Stir; repeat in 30-second increments, stirring until melted.
Dip tips of lollipop sticks into melted white chocolate and insert into center of cake balls. Refrigerate 5 minutes.
Dip each cake ball into melted chocolate, re-melting chocolate as needed. Insert stick into Styrofoam block and repeat.
