    QuantityIngredientAdd
2 (8-oz. each) lobster tails, thawed if frozen
3 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, divided
    1 clove(s) garlic, smashed
    Hy-Vee salt, to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

    Things To Grab

    • Sharp kitchen shears
    • Sharp knife
    • Shallow baking dish
    • Baster
    • Small microwave-safe bowl

    Directions

    1. Using sharp kitchen shears, carefully cut through top of lobster shell. Open shell and carefully pull out the meat leaving it attached at the tail end. Close shell and rest the meat on top of shell. With a sharp knife, make a 1/2-inch-deep cut down the length of the lobster meat. Repeat with the other lobster tail.
    2. Place lobster tails in a shallow baking dish. Fill the baking dish with 1/2 inch of water.

    3. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until lobster meat is opaque. Baste occasionally with 1 tablespoon melted butter.

    4. To make garlic-butter sauce, place 2 tablespoons butter and garlic in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Remove garlic clove and discard.

    5. Season lobster with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve with garlic-butter sauce.
