Hot Fudge Sauce for Ice Cream
Servings and Ingredients
|½ c.||chocolate chips|
|¼ c.||margarine or butter|
|1||(5 oz) can evaporated milk|
|ice cream, for serving|
- In a 4-cup microwave-safe glass measuring cup, combine sugar, chocolate chips, margarine and milk. Microwave uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly, stirring after each minute of cooking time.
- Cook on HIGH for 3 more minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is thickened, stirring once. Stir in vanilla.
- Serve warm over ice cream.
- Cover and refrigerate any remaining sauce.
