Cracked Pepper and Flax Cheeseballs

1 (8 oz) pkg light cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. cracked black pepper or coarsely ground pepper
1 tsp. salt-free herb and spice seasoning
2 tbsp. flax seed, divided
crackers and vegetables, for serving

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, black pepper and seasoning with a fork until blended. Divide half and shape each half into a ball.
  2. In a small bowl, put 1 tablespoon flax seed. Put 1 cheeseball into bowl and turn to coat all sides with seeds. Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon flax seed and other cheeseball.
  3. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours.
  4. Serve with crackers and vegetables.
