    1. First things first, mix, bake, and completely cool the cakes for our Red White and Blue Ice Cream Cake. Meanwhile, tint vanilla ice cream with blue food coloring and freeze for 30 minutes. Cut cake into 1-1/2-inch stars; freeze 30 minutes. 

    2. Place stars in a row down center or blue ice cream; freeze 30 minutes. 

    3. Spread strawberry ice cream, tinted red, over cake stars. Freeze 3 hours. 

    4. Invert ice cream loaf onto serving platter; remove pan and plastic wrap. Frost with whipped topping. Garnish as desired with berries and candles.
