    ¼ c. Hy-Vee vegetable oil
    3 large egg whites
    2 c. Hy-Vee We All Scream! vanilla ice cream, softened
    5 drop(s) Over the Top blue food coloring gel
    2 c. It's Your Churn strawberries & cream ice cream
    5 drop(s) Over the Top red food coloring gel
    1 (16-oz.) container Hy-Vee frozen whipped topping, thawed
    Frozen mixed berries, for garnish
    Star candles, for garnish

    • Parchment paper
    • 2 large bowls
    • Electric mixer
    • Plastic wrap
    • 1-1/2-inch star cookie cutter

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 15x10-inch pan with parchment paper. Beat cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and egg whites in a large bowl on low speed with an electric mixer until moistened. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes; pour into prepared pan. Bake 10 to 14 minutes; cool and invert cake on wire cooling rack. Remove parchment paper. 

    2. Tint vanilla ice cream with blue food coloring; spread in a plastic-lined 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-3/4-inch loaf pan. Freeze for 30 minutes. 

    3. Cut cake into 1-1/2-inch stars; freeze 30 minutes. Place stars in a row down the center of blue ice cream; freeze 30 minutes. 

    4. Spread strawberry ice cream, tinted red, over cake stars. Freeze 3 hours. 

    5. Invert ice cream loaf onto serving platter; remove pan and plastic wrap. Frost with whipped topping. Garnish as desired with berries and candles.
