    1 Hy-Vee egg white, lightly beaten
    1 tbsp. water
    ½ tsp. maple extract
    ½ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    2 dash(es) cayenne pepper
    1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee pecan halves

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
    2. In a small bowl, beat together egg white, water and maple extract. Stir in sugar, salt, pumpkin pie spice and cayenne pepper.
    3. Add pecan halves. Stir to coat. Spread nuts on prepared pan.
    4. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Remove from pan. Cool.
    5. Serve Sweet Spiced Pecans by themselves or chop and sprinkle over salads.
