1 ½ c. Hy-Vee creamy white frosting
4 drop(s) Hy-Vee yellow food coloring
Hy-Vee mini semisweet chocolate baking chips; for decorating
Orange licorice twists, snipped; for decorating

  • Pastry bag fitted with large round-shape piping tip
  • Kitchen scissors or small sharp knife

Directions

  1. Remove icing from 6 Hy-Vee Bakery white cupcakes with white icing; place icing in a medium bowl.

  2. Add 1½ cups Hy-Vee creamy white frosting and 4 drops Hy-Vee yellow food coloring to icing in bowl; stir until tinted. Spoon frosting into a pastry bag fitted with a large round-shape piping tip; pipe onto cupcakes.

  3. Decorate with Hy-Vee mini semisweet chocolate baking chips for eyes and snipped orange licorice twists for beaks and feet.
