Things To Grab

  • Charcoal or gas grill
  • Hy-Vee nonstick cooking spray
  • Reynolds aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill to medium-high heat. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Cut steak lengthwise in half and then crosswise into 1/8-inch thick strips. Sprinkle steak strips with salt and pepper; set aside.

  3. Center one-fourth of onions on each sheet of Reynolds™ foil. Top with steak strips and cheese.

  4. Bring up foil sides. Double-fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Repeat to make four packets. Grill 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and steak is cooked to desired temperature.

    Hyvee Culinary Expert Tip
These foil packets are not just for the grill! Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and place foil packets on a large baking sheet. Bake 14 to 18 minutes or until cheese is melted and steak has reached desired doneness.
