    You've probably heard of bird's nest toast, but what about heart's nest toast? We used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to create this Valentine's Day-worthy spin on the well-known breakfast. Here's how.

    1. Gather your ingredients and tools: four slices of your favorite thick bread, four eggs, Hy-Vee strawberry jam, butter, heart-shaped cookie cutter, pan and spatula. Cut out center of bread using heart-shaped cookie cutter. Spread butter on both sides of both pieces of bread.

    2. Toast both pieces of bread in skillet over medium heat. Once golden brown, flip both pieces over to toast other side. As second side of bread toasts, add butter inside heart-shaped hole of bread.

    3. Crack egg in middle of the hole; sprinkle egg with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes or until egg reaches desired doneness.

    4. Remove from heat. Spread heart-shaped bread with strawberry jam before serving.
