SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. (June 10, 2026) — The helpful smile of a Spring Lake Park Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to recognize the exemplary level of service she provides to customers.
Heather Teresiak’s picture was unveiled Wednesday during a celebration at the Spring Lake Park Hy-Vee, where Teresiak serves as pharmacy manager. Teresiak is a 2025 recipient of the Hy-Vee Legendary Customer Service Award, which recognizes exemplary achievement in providing service that exceeds customers’ expectations.
Teresiak was nominated for the Hy-Vee Legendary Customer Service Award for the compassion and care she shows her patients, especially a man named Del Brandt. His wife passed away several years ago and Teresiak now sends Brandt flowers over the holidays to make sure he knows he is in her thoughts during a difficult time of the year.
“We were one of the first people he came to. It was right around Christmas time,” Teresiak said. “He’s just one of those people that feels more like family now more than anything. It was just a little something that we could do.”
Brandt joined Teresiak on Wednesday when she saw her photo on the semi-trailer for the first time. Teresiak said providing outstanding customer service to people like Brandt fuels her passion for her important work.
“I’m there every day for them, I just really enjoy the relationships,” she said.
