CLINTON, Iowa (June 19, 2026) — The helpful smile of a Clinton Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to recognize the exemplary level of service she provides to customers.
Jody Turner’s picture was unveiled Friday during a celebration at the Clinton Hy-Vee, where she serves as a greeter. Turner is a 2025 recipient of the Hy-Vee Legendary Customer Service Award, which recognizes exemplary achievement in providing service that exceeds customers’ expectations.
Turner first started at the Clinton Hy-Vee in 1998, working in the kitchen. While she now works as a greeter, Turner is quick to assist wherever she is needed in the store. Turner said she enjoys her job because she loves to talk with customers and co-workers and create connections.
“The customers and the co-workers that treat you like family,” Turner said. “Some of these co-workers are not co-workers anymore, they become your family.”
Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition at the company.
