Cherokee Hy-Vee Employee Honored with Picture on Truck for More Than 40 Years of Service

Bakery manager Lori Hansen is now featured on a Hy-Vee semi-trailer.

CHEROKEE, Iowa (Sept. 14, 2026) — The helpful smile of a Cherokee Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to honor the more than 40 years of service she has dedicated to the company.

Lori Hansen’s picture was unveiled Monday during a celebration at the Cherokee Hy-Vee, where she serves as bakery manager.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition at the company.
