Jennifer Dunavan

Jennifer Dunavan, MS, RD, received her undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree from Illinois State University. Jennie’s previous work experience includes the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program and the State of Nebraska Office of Public Health, Health Promotion Unit. Jennie is a long-time member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Nebraska Dietetic Association.

Cholesterol Screening with Nutrition Consultation - $45 - By appointment: Did you know health is more than just a number on the scale?  An excellent indicator of your health status is knowing your cholesterol numbers.  Cholesterol screening is available at your "O" Street Hy-Vee. The cost of the screening is reimbursable through most insurance companies or through a flexible medical savings account.  To schedule your appointment, call Jennie at (402) 314-6704 or at jdunavan@hy-vee.com.

Nutrition Screenings - $15 by appointment:  Have you ever wondered if you are nutritionally fit?  Schedule a 30-minute nutrition screening with Jennie to determine your overall nutrition score.  Your score is based on some quick body assessments and diet intake information.  From here, the dietitians will offer tips on how to raise your score.  Call or email to schedule your nutrition screening today! New! Metabolic Testing - $45 by appointment:  Learn your exact metabolic rate with Med Gem testing; a vital tool to determine individual calorie needs for weight loss and weight maintenance. Plan for 45 minutes to complete the metabolic testing and to receive individual nutrition counseling based on the results. Email Jennie at jdunavan@hy-vee.com to schedule an appointment.
