    Servings and Ingredients

    Serves 8
    1 cedar plank
    Hy-Vee sea salt
1 (2 pound) salmon filet, skin on
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee butter, melted
1 tsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil
    3 lemon slices
    2 sprigs fresh rosemary

    Things To Grab

      1. Soak cedar plank in water for 2 to 6 hours.

      2. Heat grill to medium heat. Place plank on grill and lightly season with sea salt. Cover grill and heat plank for about 5 minutes.
      3. Place salmon skin side down on plank. Combine melted butter and olive oil and brush on salmon. Sprinkle with sea salt. Place lemon slices and rosemary sprigs on top of salmon. Cover and grill until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees, about 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
      4. Remove salmon from the cedar plank and transfer to a serving platter.
      5. Note: Keep a spray bottle filled with water near the grill at all times. Flare-ups may occur.
