1 (9-oz.) pkg. “Jiffy” golden yellow cake mix
1 Hy-Vee large egg
½ c. water
Hy-Vee creamy white frosting
Hy-Vee yellow food coloring, for decorating

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush an 8½-in. silicone daisy cake mold pan with melted butter, making sure to get into the details of the mold. Place mold on a baking sheet.

  2. Prepare cake mix batter according to pkg. directions, using egg and water. Pour batter into prepared cake mold.

  3. Bake for 28 to 31 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake completely in cake mold set on a wire rack. Remove cake from cake mold.

  4. To decorate, frost cake with white frosting. If desired, pipe a border around top edge of cake. Tint frosting with yellow food coloring; pipe small dots in center of the cake, if desired.
