    1 (8-oz.) can Hy-Vee no-salt-added tomato sauce
    ½ c. water
    ¼ c. French's Classic yellow mustard, plus additional for garnish
    1 (1-oz.) pkg. McCormick original chili seasoning mix
    ¼ c. white onion, chopped, plus additional for garnish
    8 Hy-Vee hot dogs
    8 Hy-Vee Bakery hot dog buns

    Directions

    1. Mix ground beef, tomato sauce, water, mustard, and chili seasoning in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring often and breaking up large pieces of ground beef. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink (165 degrees). Remove cover and simmer 15 minutes more or until sauce has thickened.

    2. Meanwhile, grill hot dogs as directed on package. Serve hot dogs in buns topped with chili and additional mustard and chopped onions, if desired.
