    1 ½ lbs. 80% lean ground beef
    3 oz. Soiree Swiss-Gruyere cheese, finely chopped
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee Dijon mustard
    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee salted butter, chilled, and cut into 4 pats
    4 Hy-Vee Bakery onion buns, split and toasted
    Toppers and Condiments
    Hy-Vee Select roasted garlic mayo
    Fresh arugula
    Roasted red pepper strips
    Caramelized onions

    Directions

    1. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill with a greased grill grate for indirect cooking over medium heat.

    2. Combine beef, cheese, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Form mixture into eight 4-inch patties. Place butter pat in center of four patties. Top with remaining patties, pinch edges together to seal. 

    3. Grill burgers for 15 to 20 minutes or until done (160 degrees), turning once halfway through grilling. Serve in buns with desired condiments and toppings.

      Serve these burgers with caramelized onions: Cook 1 large sliced sweet onion in 1 tablespoon Hy-Vee salted butter, 1 tablespoon Gustare Vita olive oil, and 1 teaspoon Hy-Vee packed brown sugar in a large skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until onions are very soft and turn golden brown.; stirring occasionally.
