Bratwurst Cheese Soup

    ¼ c. margarine
    2 carrots, peeled and diced
    1 celery, diced
    ¼ c. flour
    ⅛ tsp. pepper
    4 c. milk
    8 oz. smoked bratwurst, sliced
    8 oz. cheese, cubed

    Directions

    1. Melt margarine in a large saucepan. Add carrots and celery. Cook until tender, stirring continuously.
    2. Stir in flour and pepper.
    3. Add milk and bratwurst.
    4. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
    5. Add cheese and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
    6. Serve after cheese melts.
