A recall for Hy-Vee brand and Midwest Country Fare cottage cheese has been issued. An ingredient used in the cottage cheese causes it to produce more carbon dioxide than normal, affecting the flavor. The recall concerns cottage cheese only with dates of September 23, 2007 and September 24, 2007.

Please return these products to your local Hy-Vee store.
