Jennifer Tveitnes

Jennifer Tveitnes, RD, LD, is excited to be your local Hy-Vee dietitian. She is a Columbia native and earned her bachelor's degree in dietetics from the University of Missouri Columbia. She has 10 years of practice as a registered dietitian. Her experience includes both inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling, with an emphasis in diabetes and weight management. She holds a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent weight management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She offers private nutrition counseling, luncheon presentations, in-store demonstrations, grocery store tours and is available for wellness fairs.

Services include:

Group Shopping Assistance – FREE
• Learn while you shop! There is no better way to make sure you are getting the proper foods to provide you with good nutrition than to go grocery shopping with a dietitian. Check our store calendar for upcoming dates, or a group may make an appointment with Jennifer to take an aisle-by-aisle tour of the grocery store that is tailored to your nutritional needs.

Nutrition Presentations – $125 for profit organizations (First one free for events that are open to the general public/Not-For-Profit)
• Jennifer is happy to share nutritional education for your business, community event or organization. The presentation can be about any nutritional topic of your choice. PowerPoint presentations and/or handouts can also be provided.

In Store Events – FREE

Biometric Screening Events
