    1 lbs. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove(s) garlic, minced
    ¾ c. sliced mushrooms or a (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
    1 (14.5 ounce) can Hy-Vee diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 (6 ounce) can Hy-Vee tomato paste
    ½ c. water
    ½ tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    dried thyme leaves
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce
    ½ to 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
    ½ (16 oz) package Hy-Vee thin spaghetti, uncookes

    Directions

    1. In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, brown meat, onion and garlic. Cook until meat is thoroughly cooked; drain.
    2. Stir in mushrooms and remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer 30 minutes, discard bay leaf.
    3. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
    4. Serve hot pasta with sauce.
