Lindsey Frisbie

Lindsey Frisbie, RD, LD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in foods and nutrition: dietetics from Northwest Missouri State University and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Lindsey’s love of nutrition began while playing tennis throughout high school and college and grew stronger while studying abroad in Italy, where she studied the Mediterranean diet and took cooking classes. Lindsey is also a certified yoga teacher and believes yoga and nutrition complement one another in managing stress and nourishing the body and mind. Lindsey’s goal is to help make healthy eating part of your daily routine. Lindsey is excited to be a friendly face that you can come to for nutrition guidance.

Answers in the Aisles – FREE
Lindsey is available to answer your nutrition questions while you shop. Request to speak with your Hy-Vee dietitian at Customer Service.

Personal Shopping Assistance – FREE
Are you struggling with what to put in your shopping cart? Make an appointment with Lindsey to take an aisle-by-aisle shopping tour to discover healthy food choices. Get help with meal suggestions and receive guidance for special dietary needs. Call or email Lindsey to set up an appointment.

Food Experiences – FREE
Come visit your local Hy-Vee for a fun food experience! See Lindsey promote healthful food ideas through cooking demonstrations and food sampling. Dates and times vary.

Community Nutrition Programs – Cost Varies
Lindsey will come to your place of business or organization to provide nutrition programs or seminars. The presentations will be tailored to the group’s interest or needs.

Medical Nutrition Therapy (with physician referral – contact dietitian for details) – Cost Varies
Do you need help with special health or dietary needs? Lindsey will meet with you individually and develop a nutrition plan tailored to your health care needs, such as weight loss/gain, high blood pressure, diabetes, food allergy/intolerance, high cholesterol or other nutritional concerns. Appointment required.

Hy-Vee Health & Wellness e-Newsletter – FREE

Health Screenings – Cost Varies
Don’t wait for chronic disease to sneak up on you. Take preventative measures by getting accurate results on cholesterol, blood pressure, body fat and body mass index. Lindsey will provide the nutrition recommendations you need to improve your health.

Begin Program – Cost Varies
Begin is a ten-week healthy lifestyle and weight management program. This group or individual program emphasizes eating for good health, weight loss and being physically active. Biometrics and measurements are included at the beginning and end of the program.
