Kayla Aman

Kayla Aman is your Brookings Hy-Vee dietitian. Kayla received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science with a specialization in dietetics from South Dakota State University. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Kayla is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the South Dakota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed Commission on Dietetic Registration certificate of training in adult weight management in April, 2011. Kayla offers a wide range of programs and services that include store tours, wellness, cooking classes, weight loss, diabetes, heart health, food allergies and other disease-specific needs. Available Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday
Make an appointment with Kayla and take a walk through the supermarket to find healthy foods in every aisle. Get help with meal suggestions and receive guidance for special dietary needs. Personal Nutrition Counseling
Kayla Aman, your Hy-Vee dietitian, is available for private nutrition counseling. If you have questions about a specific diet – weight loss, low-sodium, diabetes, cholesterol-lowering and more – nutrition counseling is a great way to get personalized advice.         Making the Change – Includes one-on-one nutrition counseling session (1 hour), four (15-minute) follow-up sessions and a personalized shopping tour - $250
