Chef Kevin Havel has over 30 years of restaurant experience. He is excited to create a culinary experience for you and your guests in the comfort of your home. Kevin studied culinary arts at Des Moines Area Community College. During that time, he worked at numerous restaurants and country clubs in Des Moines and Altoona, Iowa, before joining Hy-Vee in 1994. Chef Kevin specializes in different types of seafood and Italian cuisine. He also holds cooking classes and private dining experiences in the Altoona Hy-Vee Club Room.

Chef Kevin is looking forward to helping you design and plan the perfect menu, for the most elegant dinner party to the perfect family gathering.
