Jamie Jarvis, MPH, RD, LD, received a bachelor's degree in dietetics from Kansas State University and a master of public health degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has worked as a registered dietitian since 2003 and enjoyed several years as a clinical dietitian in the hospital setting before coming on board with Hy-Vee. Jamie enjoys promoting good health by providing practical advice to customers to help them make small but sustainable changes to their eating habits. She is always working to stay aware of current trends and research through further education and training. Jamie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Kansas Dietetic Association and the Kansas City Dietetic Association.

Bridget Luff, RD, LD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from the University of Central Missouri. Bridget completed her dietetic internship through ARAMARK in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Missouri Dietetic Association. Bridget is also a member of the Kansas City Dietetic Association (KCDA) and has served as the Community Engagement Coordinator on the KCDA board. Bridget has a passion for helping people make healthy living fun and achievable for the whole family.

Join your Hy-Vee dietitian for an aisle-by-aisle tour. You will discover new food choices, learn about label reading and discuss the basics of nutrition and healthy eating. Tours can focus on health concerns such as diabetes, weight management and heart health, or other topics such as improving your shopping list, quick meal ideas and budget eating.

Diabetes Education Program
The Noland Road Hy-Vee Diabetes Education Program is recognized by the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) for meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education. This AADE status means our staff provides the most effective and up-to-date diabetes care available. This comprehensive program is designed to help you better manage your diabetes. We offer information about living with diabetes including managing medications, increasing physical activity, performing blood glucose testing, taking preventive measures and working to develop better nutrition habits. Community & Worksite Wellness Services
Several health and wellness programs are available for your business or organization. Your group can come to the store, or our health and wellness team can come to you.
Services include health fairs, cooking demonstrations, weight loss programs, nutrition presentations, health screenings and immunization clinics. Call to discuss program ideas and fee information.
Blood Pressure Screening
High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but increases your risk for serious problems, including heart attack and stroke. Regular screenings can help you find and treat high blood pressure early.

DISH is a freezer meal class that will help you put healthy, balanced, wholesome and delicious meals on the table. Each class features 5 dietitian-selected recipes with sides for your to take home, freeze, cook and enjoy at your convenience. We do the grocery shopping and all the clean-up; you help with recipe preparation and assemble the meals to take home and freeze. Kids' Kitchen Cooking Classes
Kids' Kitchen Cooking Classes are held once or twice per month. There is a brief nutrition discussion at each class; then participants make two or three healthy recipes and taste them. These classes are a great way for your kids to have some fun and learn about making healthy meals and snacks at the same time.
