Executive Chef Mark Webster has attended several prestigious culinary schools: The Philadelphia Restaurant School, Johnson and Wales Culinary University, and both campuses of the Culinary Institute of America. Mark is certified through the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as both an Executive Chef and Culinary Educator and is a member of the World Association of Chefs Societies.

Chef Mark has traveled around the world, learning different cuisines on his culinary journey. He has designed and created recipes and meals for U.S. and foreign dignitaries. He has worked at clubs, private and chain restaurants. Most recently, he worked for over nine years as the executive chef at the New Theatre Restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas, serving 250,000 guests per year. Chef Mark is also an adjunct associate professor in the Culinary Hospitality program at Johnson County Community College.

Chef Mark has received numerous awards, but these are a few of his most recent:

  • Received the 2008-2009 Chef of the Year Award from the Greater Kansas City Chef's Association (GKCCA)
  • Received two Presidential Medallions (2008 and 2015)
  • Inducted into the American Academy of Chefs (AAC) 2010
  • Won the 2011 Chef Professionalism Award for the Central Region of the American Culinary Federation (ACF)
  • Inducted into the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque in June 2015
