Chef Bryan Williams has been passionate about cooking for over 16 years. A chef, gardener and home brewer, Chef Bryan is very enthusiastic about fresh, local and seasonal ingredients when approaching his dishes. While attending Johnson County Community College for his chef’s apprenticeship and working at a fine dining restaurant on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Chef Bryan learned to work with a wide variety of meats, fresh seafood and produce.

Chef Bryan has also worked for McCormick and Schmick’s Fresh Seafood Restaurant, Blanc Burgers and Bottles, and numerous private country clubs, all in the Kansas City area. A transplant to mid-Missouri, Chef Bryan jumped at the opportunity to work at the Rockbridge Hy-Vee because of its large selection and commitment to local and fresh ingredients.

Chef Bryan’s passion for the freshest possible ingredients allows him to produce the finest dishes. He plans on offering various cooking demonstrations and classes, as well as wine and beer tastings (which will be paired with cheeses) and flavorful appetizers using local ingredients. He hopes to share his passion for great food, great drinks and great company.
