This quick toaster recipe is everything you want in an Italian grilled cheese. Packed with mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, and pesto.

2 tbsp.Gustare Vita pesto
3 slice(s)Hy-Vee sliced mozzarella cheese
3 slice(s)roma tomato
¼ c.fresh arugula

Directions

  1. Spread pesto on each slice of bread. Lay mozzarella cheese on top of pesto on each slice of bread; tearing to fit slices if necessary. Layer tomato and arugula on one slice of bread. Top with remaining cheese and pesto bread slice.

  2. Place sandwich into toastabag or wrap sandwich in a thin layer of aluminum foil. Turn toaster on its side. Toast sandwich for 8 minutes or until lightly toasted and cheese has melted.

  3. Carefully remove sandwich from toaster and unwrap; cut into 2 slices. Serve immediately.
