    Here's a twist on the classic root beer float. Chocolate drizzled into each glass provides a perfect dance partner for root beer.

    ¼ c. hot fudge ice cream topping, divided
    8 medium scoops (about 3 c.) Hy-Vee vanilla ice cream, divided
    4 c. Hy-Vee root beer, divided

    Directions

    1. Swirl 1 tablespoon hot fudge sauce inside each of four tall glasses. Don't completely coat the insides; leave some glass showing through.
    2. Spoon two scoops of ice cream into each glass.
    3. Slowly pour root beer into glasses, allowing the foam to rise and then recede before adding more root beer.
    4. For an adults-only version: To each glass, add 1 ounce of a coffee liqueur, such as Kahlúa.
