    ¾ c. Hy-Vee unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or similar milk or milk alternative
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee brown sugar, packed
    1 pinch(es) Hy-Vee ground cinnamon, plus additional for garnish
    1 pinch(es) Hy-Vee ground nutmeg
    ¼ to 1/2 c. coffee, or espresso, brewed and hot
    Cinnamon stick, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Add milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon to a microwave-safe container with a lid. Shake until slightly frothy, about 1 minute.

    2. Place container, uncovered, in the microwave. Microwave at 30 second increments, or until hot.

    3. Add coffee to a mug and pour milk mixture over top. Stir gently to combine. Top with additional ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick for garnish.

      For an iced version, simply shake together almond milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon and pour into an ice-filled glass. Pour over cold coffee or espresso. Stir to combine.
