Steam Broccoli: Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces. Add 1 cup water to large skillet; place over high heat. Add broccoli; season with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Steam until bright green and tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate using a slotted spoon; keep warm. Drain excess water from skillet; wipe dry.
Saute Garlic and Beef: Add 2 teaspoons canola oil to skillet; heat over medium heat. Add minced garlic; saute until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add sliced onion; cook another minute. Pat beef strips dry with paper towels; add to skillet. Cook until beef begins to lightly brown, about 4 minutes.
Make Sauce: Add soy sauce, chili garlic seasoning and brown sugar; stir to combine. Add broccoli; cook another 3 minutes or until beef reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees on an instant read meat thermometer.
It's Mealtime! Divide brown rice between 2 bowls; top with beef and broccoli mixture. If desired, add Sriracha.
